As the Director Education Services at Baptist Health Systems (BHS), I can attest that Mississippi College School of Nursing has exceptional Student and Graduate Nurses. Mississippi College and BHS have an affiliate agreement for clinical experiences for the Student Nurses. The student and graduate nurses from the school demonstrate professionalism, knowledge, clinical expertise, critical thinking and caring skills. The Mississippi College School of Nursing faculty are extraordinary. As a recent graduate of December 2013, I have already seen the distinct difference that can be found as a result of having been mentored by instructors in a small setting who genuinely care deeply about Christ, their profession, their students, and each other. A bright smile, an act of kindness, a sincere prayer, a devotional to start the day - these things, while they may be simple, can never be underestimated in their ability to make a profound difference in the lives of students. I will be forever thankful for the aspects of the Christ-centered curriculum that have positively influenced me, both as a nurse and as an individual.
